SRI LANKANS ,A NATION OF MEGALOMANIACS
In Sri Lanka ,we think that every thing should be big.
Hence rediculous term like,
Maha dansala,
Maha thoran rjaya,
Maha Rohala,
Maha Vidyalya,
Maha Nayaka,
Maha amati,
Maha Veediya,
Maha Purana Viharaya,
Maha maargaya,
Maha wansaya
etc.
In fact there is nothing "maha" in a maha vidyalya.They are all shanty bulidings.Same can be spoken of maha rohalas.Before doing anything we name it 'maha".Why dont we use humble words and do great things.Let other people decide whether they are great or not.

You are dead right. T went through the other posts as well. Your blog is very interesting and it would have been better if you could have written some of the posts in Sinhala or Tamil as well.
